Meet Jon, one of True South Solar’s newest journeyman electricians.
When did you first start thinking about solar?
I first started thinking about solar in the mid 1980’s, when I started in the Electrical trade as an Electrician apprentice.
I also became very interested in Solar when I started subscribing to HomePower magazine around that same time.
What’s your favorite thing to do in the sun?
I love being in the sun all the time. Generally speaking, it’s hard to say what I enjoy the most.
I would have to say that some of my favorite things to do in the sun are Gardening, Fishing, and Reading.
What brought you to TSS?
I came to TSS as a result of being referred to them by an old solar installer buddy and a new local acquaintance.
I had job offers from a couple of other Solar companies in this area as well, at this time.
After researching all of them, I decided that TSS stood out above the rest of them as a reputable local company.
What are you most looking forward to while working here?
I am looking forward to offering my knowledge in the Electrical & Renewable Energy fields to the TSS team.
I am also looking forward to learning more about the latest technology that TSS uses in their quality installations.
What do you see for the future of solar?
In the future I see the Solar industry broadening demographically, more technically advanced, and educationally expanding.
I also see Solar and other Renewable energy sources becoming more prominent exponentially in the years to come.
