We are currently seeking a Qualified Journeyman Electrician to join our team! 

QUALIFIED JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN

  • Install electrical service equipment, wiring and devices required for the installation of residential solar PV systems. 
  • Install electrical systems that interconnect our solar array to the grid power of our customer’s residential or commercial property. 
  • Install battery back-up storage systems. 
  • Install new service panel upgrades.
  • Act as on-site supervisor for install crews
  • Provide regular project and crew updates to the Field Manager and complete necessary paperwork. 
  • Coordinate and communicate with electrical inspectors to satisfy local requirements. 
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with businesses and homeowners. 
  • Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues. 
  • Maintain annual continuing education requirements. 
  • Train and mentor LRT Apprentices
  • Maintain high quality control on tools, vehicles, and materials needed. 
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and company standards.
  • Complete additional job duties as assigned. 
  • Current Oregon Journeyman Electrician License
  • Experience in solar is a plus, but not required. 
  • Genuine interest and willingness to learn solar electric
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly, climbing ladders, and working on sloped roofs in all weather conditions. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot projects. 
  • Ability to read and interpret one-line drawings and electrical schematics. 
  • Understanding of wire and conduit sizing. 
  • Ability to make adjustments for environmental factors. 
  • Ability to navigate guidelines and code requirements. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to perform advanced electrical calculations. 
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills. 
  • Leadership experience a plus. 
  • Above average computer skills.

We are currently seeking a Materials Handler to join our team! 

MATERIALS HANDLER

  • Pull inventory for each installation job. 
  • Pre-assemble job components in the warehouse. 
  • Layout and assembly of solar modules/array and mounting hardware. 
  • Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment.
  • Handle electrical equipment of solar array/system as directed.
  • Document completion of installation. 
  • Clean-up of job site. 
  • Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety.  
  • Attend monthly staff meetings.  
  • Effectively communicate with staff via text, phone and email.  
  • Additional duties required as needed. 
  • 1 year of work. General construction or carpentry required.
  • Experience in solar is a plus, but not required. 
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly, climbing ladders, standing on feet a long time and working on sloped roofs in all weather conditions(hot sun, snow, etc.) Work in small spaces such as crawl spaces and attics. 
  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Mac Programs.
  • High school diploma or GED required.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. 
  • Excellent customer service skills required.  
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screening. 
  • Clean driving record required.
