Q: What is your role on the True South Solar team?
I’m the Field Manager, Journeyman Electrician, and PV (photovoltaic) Jedi.
Q: What’s your favorite part of the job?
Increasing the amount of solar kilowatts on the grid and decreasing the demand for fossil fuel kilowatts.
Q: What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned since joining the team?
If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.
Q: When did you first start thinking about solar?
I started thinking about solar in 1999, when I installed my first dual top-of-pole ground mount on an organic farm.
Q: What’s your favorite thing to do in the sun?
My favorite thing to do is travel with my family and friends. You can find me in the sun on mountains, rivers, lakes, trails, backpacking, snowboarding, kayak fishing, and hot spring rallies. I also enjoy sipping umbrella drinks out of pineapples on warm beaches.
