Meet True South Solar employee Koko! He is a journeyman electrician who grew up right here in Southern Oregon.
When did you first start thinking about solar?
I started thinking about solar in high-school as a good alternate source of energy production, and as I have grown older I have enjoyed watching its implementation and technological advances.
What’s your favorite thing to do in the sun?
My favorite thing to do in the sun is hike and explore the forest.
What brought you to TSS?
What brought me to True South Solar is its reputation as a very professional company with a strong appreciation for its employees.
What are you most looking forward to while working here?
I am most looking forward to continuing to learn new things and providing people with independence from the grid while working at True South Solar.
What do you see for the future of solar?
I see an extremely strong future in solar electricity with rising electricity costs and grid failures. Also I think it has become much easier to set up off grid living with recent battery technology, and this will allow people to live comfortably where it may have been a hardship before.
