Homeowners who install solar and energy storage are eligible for a 30% tax credit on their storage and solar electric system through 2033. The tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar reduction in the income tax you would otherwise owe. To ensure eligibility, talk with your tax adviser.
Energy Trust of Oregon (Pacific Power)
Pacific Power customers can access various solar and storage incentives through the Energy Trust of Oregon. Incentive amounts are constantly changing based on the demands in the market and the availability of funds. Our team will determine which incentives you may be eligible for and apply for you.
Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE)
The Solar + Storage Rebate Program offers rebates for solar and storage projects. Oregon homeowners can receive a rebate of up to $5,000 for a solar electric system and up to $2,500 for an energy storage system. Rebates are issued to ODOE-approved contractors who install the system. The savings will be taken off the total cost of the system. The program expands access to renewable energy to Oregonians with lower incomes. If your household is considered low- or moderate-income, you could receive a rebate worth up to 60 percent of the cost of your system.Â
Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE)
The Solar + Storage Rebate Program normally offers rebates for solar and storage projects. However, funding has run out for this program and it is not expected to return until the Oregon State Legislature meets again in early 2025.
City of Ashland Rebate
City of Ashland customers can access the Solar Electric (PV) Incentive Program. This program encourages Ashland residents to install solar. The incentive for going solar is $600 dollars, paid directly to the customer after inspection.
