Beginning July 1, The Energy Trust of Oregon (ETO) has made battery storage incentives available for all commercial Pacific Power customers. This is great news for our commercial customers who would like to add battery storage to their plans for installing solar on their buildings.
As an ETO solar trade ally, True South Solar has been able to provide storage incentives to our residential solar customers since 2023, when solar + battery incentives first became available. We are thrilled that these incentives have been expanded to our commercial customers, giving businesses – big and small – an opportunity to enhance their energy independence.
Tesla Powerwall 3, the battery storage option with the highest level of backup at the most affordable price point, is one battery backup solution True South Solar proudly installs. Powerwall 3 is an integrated battery system that stores solar energy for backup protection, so when the grid goes down, your power stays on. A 3-phase Powerwall 3, which will better-serve our commercial customers, should be available in late 2024.
ELM Microgrid Solutions also offers great comercial-scale energy storage. True South Solar is installing these products at local schools to help them become resiliency hubs for local community members displaced during natural disasters. ELM just completed a new 125,000 square foot production facility in Colony, Texas to help meet the growing demand for their products.
