Q: What is your role on the True South Solar team?
I’m a solar advisor. I facilitate residential solar projects throughout Southern Oregon.
Q: What’s your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part of working with True South Solar is helping people obtain their renewable energy goals. When your work is doing something you truly believe in, it makes it extremely easy to get up in the morning and start your day, because you know you’re making a difference.
Q: What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned since starting True South Solar?
The most important thing I learned is that I don’t know everything. There’s always something to learn when working in a dynamic industry like solar.
Q: When did you first start thinking about solar?
I first started thinking about solar when I was going through wind technician training. Solar kept coming up as another form of renewable energy which made it an easy transition for me.
Q: What’s your favorite thing to do in the sun?
Fishing, hunting, golfing, and water sports are some of my favorite things to do with my family. I love working in the Rogue Valley because it means I get to spend more time with my family.
