Your business can claim either the ITC or the PTC, not both. - State/Local Incentives – Incentives are available in Southern Oregon including cash rebates, production-based incentives, and property tax exemptions. *If your business claims both the Investment Tax Credit and depreciates your system, you must reduce the depreciation amount by one-half of the tax credit: 15%. You would still be able to depreciate 85% of the total cost of your solar panel system. If you do not claim the federal tax credit, you can depreciate 100% of the total cost.
