Q: What is your role on the True South Solar team?
I’m the bookkeeper for True South Solar, which basically means I have the most fun. I record the day-to-day financial transactions of the business. I make sure the team is turning in their all receipts. I pay for all the solar panels True South Solar installs throughout the Rogue Valley and send invoices to our customers.
Q: What’s your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part of my job is working with some amazing people. The True South Solar team is truly a pleasure to work with and we have a lot of fun in the office listening to today’s top hits, oldies, and classics!
Q: What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned since joining the team?
Don’t make a mistake on the crew’s payroll. They will find out, and will tell you, and won’t let you forget it happened no matter how many months have passed.
Q: When did you first start thinking about solar?
I first started thinking about solar when I started working with True South Solar about five years ago. I started seeing solar more and more around my neighborhood. I eventually became a solar owner myself and now have 18 solar panels on my home.
Q: What’s your favorite thing to do in the sun?
I love spending my free time by the side of my pool with an iced drink, my family, and my 2 wonderful doodles.
